A painting of a voluptuous reclining nude. The woman is pictured lying on her back, diagonally draped from left to right. She is spread across large purple grapes and in lies front of big orange tangerines. The tangerines are in the upper middle part of the picture, the grapes are in the lower middle part. All is set against a dark brown background. The woman has a warm skin tone. Her head is tilted away from the viewer in the upper left part of the picture. Her torso is in the middle. Her legs are in the right part of the painting. The left leg is lifted and bend at the knee with the foot supported by the grapes. With her back and her lower right arm and hand she is resting on some grapes as well. The right leg is also bend and dangles over the grapes. This painting loosely refers to the theme of a Horn of Plenty. In the classical version of a Horn of Plenty, a horn shaped wicker basket is facing the viewer, with all sorts of fruits tumbling out of the horn to indicate abundance. In my version there is a woman tumbling towards you together with huge grapes and tangerines and the composition of the figure and the fruit follows the shape of a horn directed to the viewer.
